On the "outdoor" side, there are doorbell chimes, a rolling garden display, a flower that grows, a mailbox for letters, a sun and moon dial, and more. "Indoor" features include a light switch and a singing clock. There are 21 songs, all of which are easily heard, electronic, and activated by touching, tweaking, or pulling parts of the play set. Great toy that can grow with your little one
My mom bought this for my daughter because her best friend insisted she MUST get it for her new grandchild. She was absolutely right on. I assembled it and had it sitting in our living room for a few months before she started being interested in it, which wasn't until around 8 months or so. But I can tell this is a toy that will grow with her as she continues to develop (physically and cognitively). I'm telling you folks, there's not a part on this toy that isn't interactive. Right now, she's only interested in the mailbox, simply opening and closing the door and hearing it say, "You've got mail." But as she gets older, she'll learn to put the mail in and take it out. Now, she just throws it on the floor! And the first time she ever "bopped" to music was when this toy plays the "ABC" song. I think this is well worth the money for the amount of play this toy will get. The only DOWN SIDE to this toy is the assembly. It just takes a while to put it together, but highly recommended!!
A year and half later... still loving this toy!
I bought this toy when my twins turned one. They are now 31 months and they STILL love it. I was ready to get rid of it (it is big...) and I asked them if we could give it to their cousin. The answer NO! And how could I? They still play with it almost every day. They like listening to the songs and playing with the mail. They use the "sun/moon" and pretend it is a steering wheel and they tell me they are driving to Mema's house. This toy took the girls from crawling (they used to love to crawl through the door) to pulling up, and now they are runners and still love playing with this toy. Great toy!
I purchased this toy for my daughter on her first birthday. She absolutely loves it and it keeps her busy for an extended period of time, which is quite difficult to do. It was easy to assemble and took only about 20 minutes. It is very interactive with lights, sounds, and moving components. The music and sounds are varied enough that it doesn't get boring. The volume switch is great also allowing my daughter to be the only one hearing it while she plays on the low setting. Very good toy.
