Great tub!
Everyone is right, this is a great tub for your little one. My baby is 5 months old and was outgrowing the infant bathtub that sat on the sink. He fits great into the infant side and he had a blast the first time he was in the tub. It was the first time he could splash around and the first time Dad heard him laugh! So worth it. He doesn't find it so amusing anymore but it's great for me because I can give him a bath alone now instead of having to have another person hold him up in the tub. Yes, the drain is really slow so I do what someone else does and use a large plastic cup to scoop the water out so I can refill with clean water. But, no big deal since we use the cup to rinse his hair anyway.

Hate this tub!
I was so excited when I got this tub. The reviews were great and I expected a great product. Boy was I wrong. From the time I opened the box I knew I'd hate it. The tub was filthy, not something I would expect from a new product, it had scratches and nicks all over it. After having cleaned it up I tried it out with my daughter. It was too big for her, she slid and I had to prop her up with a towel to make her comfortable. I couldn't believe it, I mean she was eight pounds-four ounces, it's not like she was a small baby. It frustrated me and made her bath time uncomfortable, I can tell she felt it too. I would hate anyone to go out and buy this tub, it's truly not worth the money. What a horrible product!

love love love this tub!
My baby is 11 weeks old and ever since her umbilical stub feel off we have been using this tub. It is rather large but the infant side works great and holds her in place with no problem. She is just starting to kick and flap her arms around and she LOVES being in this tub. For a colicky baby to enjoy ANYTHING is a gift!!

A must have
We received a bulb sucker from the hospital for spit up and clearing of the nose/mouth passage. It works ok but seemed like it wasn't getting the job done and repeated attempts eventually upset our baby. The NoseFrida works great. our baby doesn't mind it as much-not sure why, other than you only need to use it 1-2 times/side and because you can control the duration and suction strength, it's much more effective. Helps her to feed and sleep after because of unubstructed pathway. Highly reccomend this item or a similar design-seems there are a lot out there.

Lemme tell ya! This snotsucker is the best snotsucker EVER! My baby just turned 1 and was sick with cold twice so far, and every time he had a stuffy nose, he was so miserable he couldnt breath and he would not let me use regular nose suction bulb,screamed and cried and when babies are in such distress you dont want to use the suction bulb because it can easily injure the nostril. I was frustrated and looking for a product which will actually work safely and effectively. And I did! Nosefrida is so effective and safe and ingenious at the same time and very easy to use. I bought this item based on good reviews and recommend it to all the moms and dads. My baby still fights me when he realizes what I am about to do, but at least I am not afraid of any nose injuries and it sucks out the snots like there is no tomorrow! And when my baby feels better and breaths better when he is sick is all what makes me happy. It made a big difference in treatment of those nasty colds.Plus it is super easy to clean. And actually I also love it for one more reason...My husband absolutely can not watch me doing it and he gags so bad and leaves the room telling me You're not right woman! It makes me laugh, it so funny how he thinks that the snot actually goes up into your mouth and thinks I am gross, i tried to show him and explain that it's nothing like that, that snot goes nowhere neat your mouth , but he doesnt believe me ))) I just think it's hilarious .

a little gross but AMAZINGLY effective
So, I felt compelled to write this review because I used this product three times morning on my 8-month-old one and results were awesome. I had gotten the product as a gift from my sister, who pointed out that the reviews for the Nosefrida were much more positive than for the traditional nasal aspirator I had originally registered for. Luckily my little one hasn't had a proper cold until just this week. I knew that I needed to clear out her nose because she was struggling to breath, particularly when nursing. So, I whipped out the Nosefrida and WOW--you would not believe how much snot it got out. My little one didn't love the process, but it was well worth her mild irritation. The first go around I did it my myself, which was slightly tough but do-able. The other two times my husband held the baby while I suctioned and it was a breeze. The device is easy to use, simple to clean, and has replaceable sponge filters that protect the person doing the suctioning from inhaling anything undesirable. It is a little gross to see the snot fly into the device, but let's be honest, if you are taking care of a baby on a regular basis, gross is a regular event in one's life anyway. Seriously, this is a great product!

Track your steps and more (distance, calories, fat grams burned) with this small and light pocket pedometer
This pocket pedometer is small and very light. It tracks more than just steps: It also track distance, calories, fat gram burned. It is easy to set up, just enter your height and weight, and it will automatically calculate your stride length. It also has activity tracker mode (in addition to the normal mode) where it tracks exercise time, steps, distance, and calories separately. It also have a clock and the screen will automatically go to sleep mode if it is not used for a cetrain time (though it will continue to count the steps).



Tracking the number steps (and distance) are quite accurate eventhough the screen display doesn't always update with every steps (sometime it updated after I walked 10 steps, some other time 17 steps, basically random, not sure what logic it uses, maybe it updates every couple of seconds)



I'm not sure how accurate the calories and fat grams burned information, as I don't know whether this pedometer will adjust the formula (on calculating calories and fat grams burned) depending on the speed of the steps. My recommendation is to use the calories and fat grams burned information as a guideline/directional only and use other equipment if you need an accurate measurement.



Once I find out how many steps I take in a day I'm curious to see what's the average statistics look like and I found these info/recommendation (instead of just aiming for 10,000 steps) on the web from Dr. Catrine Tudor-Locke:



1. Under 5000 steps per-day may be used as a "sedentary lifestyle index"

2. 5,000-7,499 steps per-day is typical of daily activity excluding sports and might be considered "low active"

3. 7,500-9,999 likely includes some exercise or walking and might be considered "somewhat active"

4. 10,000 steps per-day indicates the point that should be used to classify individuals as "active"

5. Individuals who take more than 12,500 steps per-day are likely to be classified as "highly active"

Easy to use, a display that's easy to read
Last year I won a pedometer from my employer after filling out a health survey. I was quite pleased until I actually tried to use the thing. It was complicated to use, and after it said my two mile walk was actually three miles, I put the thing away. I haven't used it since. I was, however, hopeful that there was a pedometer on the market that was easy to use and accurate.



When you first open the package on this Omron pedometer and take a look at the directions, it may seem a bit daunting. But the instructions are fairly easy to follow. I had no problems setting the time, my weight, height, etc. The clip that comes with the unit, allowing a user to attach the pedometer to clothes, etc. (attached with a very short strap), is a bit cheap and I had a terrible time getting it to open. But that was the only problem I encountered.



Once all the settings were complete, I started testing. I put the unit in my pocket and walked the length of my house. Peeking at the pedometer, I was amazed at the number of steps it said I had taken. So, I repeated my journey, this time counting my steps so I could compare. It was definitely off. The directions explain how to manually override the automatic stride length setting (determined by your height) and how to accurately determine your stride length. Once I did that, I was in business.



Give yourself a day or so to play with this pedometer and get used to all that it can do. You can track your steps (and you get a yee-haw - person with raised hands - icon every 10,000 steps). The unit also has a distance display, calories burned, fat burned and time spent display. There's a memory function that stores seven days of activity. This pedometer is small enough to easily fit in your pocket and yet, the display screen is big enough to read without difficulty.



Quill says: This handy little pedometer is a great way to get your exercise program in shape.

More accurate than my legs...
This pedometer is small, easy to use, very simple to set up. Once it starts going it simply counts your steps daily from midnight-to-midnight, though there is also a mode where you can track a certain span -- if you want to walk a couple miles, say, or get an idea how far it is to the coffee shop. If you haven't got a pocket, no problem. There's a strap with a little clip on the end.



Personally I would prefer a device that can be reset and turned off and on, but this doesn't seem to be readily available. Having every jiggle in the car added to my step count may not actually matter, but it offends my sense of accuracy.



While walking, the step counter is uncannily accurate. If you've got this baby with you, properly aligned, and you're walking, it *is* counting your steps, no question.



As for the distance calculation... I stuck mine in my exercise pants pocket, left it at the auto-stride length, and headed out to my local walking route, which is marked out in half miles. For the first mile it was perfectly accurate. And then it started to drift, thinking more distance had passed than had.



What actually happened, of course, is that I got tired and my stride length shortened. I suspect the hills may have played a part.



In conclusion: if you want to count your steps in a day, with the intention to walk more, this will be a great way to track that. If you want to track how far you've walked, this may get you an accurate measurement, depending on how consistent your stride length is. Over hills or in places where your effort varies, it may lose accuracy. You might need a more sophisticated device.

10mo and still building trust
This is my first radar detector (rd). Has capability to be super sensitive and spot threats quite a ways away, but other times the threat feels too close before alerting. This may be because I activated 2 or 3 bands that may never be used in my neck of the woods. I use the GPS as my speedometer, which I assume is quite accurate. I hope to have more updates in the future. The blue display is very pleasing and seems to be less noticeable by other drivers behind me, as they do not try to trail me thinking they're "safe" too.

I would probably buy again.

Ultimately has saved me from enough tickets that it has paid for itself.

I wish they'd mix their Redline with this for the ultimate...even more so making an optional direct install unit rather than a windshield/dash only device.

Finally a radar detector that is worth the money.
I just used my 9500ix on a short trip today, im impressed. No false alarms from any of the usual locations and I was alerted to the presence of 3 patrol cars on my trip today.

At It's Very Essence, It Doesn't Do Anything Great
This is my very first radar detector and I really wanted to love this device. Prior to purchasing, I did weeks worth of researching and scouring the internet for reviews on all types of radar detectors. Through researching, 3 radar detectors kept coming back as the best (Valentine One, Escort 9500ix, and Escort Redline). There was also talk of the Beltronics STi-R+, however that's only available in Europe. Here is a breakdown of all 3.



1. Valentine One - This is the reigning champ since radar detectors became common amongst consumers. It's been around since late 90's and still looks exactly the same since it came out, though the internals and software have been changed. The range on this thing surpasses all other rivals, but because of this people complain it falses too much (too noisy). This is the only device that offers equal extensive range in front and back of you (due to 2 horns positioned oppositely), a bogey counter, and has directional arrows to tell you where the alert is coming from. It also (at extra charge) has an available remote device that gives you everything you need from the device so you can run your device in full dark mode and still get the important information somewhere else. V1 costs $400 straight from manufacture and is available only from the manufacturer. When new upgrade is available, you can trade in the device for new one for $180.



2. Escort 9500ix - Of the so-called top of the line detectors, this one is the only one with GPS functions. With this built in, it can know your location and your speed and can lockout false alerts so your daily commute can be quiet. Also with GPS functionality is a built in database of all the speed cameras and red light cameras, so you get warnings when you come close to one. The database Escort uses is Trinity. However of all 3 devices, this one has the lowest range but from the reviews, it doesn't seem that much. Costs $500 only from authorized dealers, Escort does not honor warranty on devices from unauthorized dealers. They will still do work on it, for extra cost. They have a trade in program, but they give you like $80 dollars for any radar detector. Also, with this purchase you get limited time of updates (I think 3 months) from database, after that you have to pay.



3. Escort Redline - This is Escort's high range device. This device uses 2 horns to sniff out weaker signals, therefore alerting you much soon. There really isn't any frills with this device, it was made to have the highest sensitivity possible without all the bells and whistles. Pretty much, it's their answer to the Valentine. From the reviews I have read, a majority of times it alerted before the Valentine on head to head testing. However, it doesn't have the range from behind as both horns are facing front instead of front/back like the V1. Price is the same as the 9500ix with the same trade in program.







So why did I choose the 9500ix? First, a little background information. I'm in northern New Jersey, so there isn't too many highways/freeways like I've seen out west. Most of my driving is through town, with some highways to get to work. According to this information, I leaned towards the 9500ix. Who wants to deal with falses and a noisy device everyday to work? Also, since I go to the city a lot, the red light camera function would be of great use.



So the 3 reasons I bought this device:



1. To detect radar - I hate speed traps with a passion. I'm not an aggressive driver and I rarely go more than 10 mph over posted highway speeds. I like to keep with the flow of traffic. I'm not the maniac that you see weaving in and out of lanes to get to their destination 3 minutes earlier. But what I have gotten caught in are ridiculous areas in town where it's like a 25mph zone that's right after a 40. Or a place near my work that's a 25 zone coming right off a highway exit. I'm not driving recklessly or dangerously, it's just these cops are trying to recuperate the state budget cuts by camping in these spots and checking for speed/inspection/insurance/tints/seat belts. After you get the ticket, you can challenge in court but end up plea bargaining for 500+ dollars for no points and having to pay court fees. Tell me this isn't a scam!



2. GPS functionality - I like the idea of it having the build in GPS functionality. Pass by the same signal at the same place 3 times, it assumes its false and locks out. After driving the same path, no more noise except the real threats. Besides that, it knows your speed so when an alert does come up, it tells you exactly how fast you are going. It won't make a sound under a certain speed. It also contains a database with known red light and speed cameras, a bigger threat now. Who wants to pay cops overtime to give tickets when you can install a camera and mail tickets to speeders? You can also mark your own locations for known speed traps and such, so you'll get warning when you get close.



3. USB port - only device of the 3 mentioned that has this. Through this, you can upgrade firmware updates and camera database updates with your computer.





So why 3 stars? Well I've had this device now for close to past 3 months. I've used it daily for my commute, around town, vacations, and trips to other states. Here are my opinions against the 3 reasons why I bought it.





1) To detect radar - I knew coming in that this had the least range of all 3, but it was still suppose to be good. However, I didn't feel that was true. Granted, this is my first radar detector so I really didn't have anything to compare to. From the reviews and videos I've seen, my range was no where close to that. I was consistently getting alerts from about 1/4 to 1/3 mile out. If I was speeding on highway speeds, I don't see how that could help me. A lot of times, I had visual on cops at about same time the detector went off. If this is suppose to be like that, then what's the point of having one? Now this could be environment effected too, since most videos I've seen are vast open highways on pure, flat land.



My first hit came when I was going southbound and a cop who left his radar on was going northbound. When the detector went off, he couldn't have been more than 400 ft away. I called this a wash since we were both going at highway speeds going towards each other.



Another time a cop was stationary and had already pulled someone over, I saw him on the side already and I assumed that he turned his radar off. As I got closer, then the detector went off.



Also, the toll booths that I pass everyday sets my detector off. I try to estimate how far I am before going off, looks less than quarter mile. I just don't believe the range/sensitivity is good enough, even my wife said "If it alerts you so late, how can it help you?"



Then I did more research and it seems some people out there agree/confirm to what I'm seeing, so it doesn't seem my unit is faulty. I mean it's only maybe a month old when I got it (I checked the manufactured date, 20th week of 2010). It seems this device suffers from "tunnel vision" on the M4 antenna platform. Basically, great range straight out but horrible off-axis. They say the best antenna was the S7 in the old 8500's.





2) GPS functionality - Once you've had this, you really can't go back. In my opinion, this is what makes this device. All the features/capabilities related to this device is really a game changer. I really love that the device is completely quiet (but alarms on the screen) when under certain speed and tells you your exact speed when an alert hits. This way, you don't take a look at device to see the alarm and then look at your speedometer to see if you over or not. And with red light/speed cameras, it's the total package.



Now the bad news. Yes, you can lock out false alarms, but it can also lock out real things. Say for instance, a cop is hiding in the same place everyday for a week using the same gun on same frequency. This would get locked out, though the situation is highly unlikely. The device is "suppose" to unlock if you go to same locations and the threat is no longer there, but mine kept the lock and never released until I did it manually. But this wasn't a cop, it was a "your speed is" sign and then I noticed it was off one week. When it was powered back on, I should get an alarm but I saw the spinning satellite icon (meaning it was still locked signal).



Yes, the database is great and is updated weekly, but you get 3 month subscription before you have to pay. Yea, the database is updated weekly but how many of the national updates are important to you? Maybe 1 out of your free 3 months.



Also, I found the warnings to the cameras were inadequate as well. Most of times, I was pretty close to the light before it went off. Some examples you can find on youtube if you search trapster vs 9500ix.





3) USB port - I thought this would be great to have, especially for firmware updates to make this future proof. But once again, you have to pay for the subscription. I'm not sure about firmware updates, that may be free but from what I've read, firmware updates don't come very often. Plus, will firmware help if the hardware is faulty? From what I've read in the forums, to send item back to fix/flash costs $60 dollars out of warranty (I believe) each time. And you pay the shipping too







So in conclusion, yes, I really wanted to love this device but couldn't. In it's essence, it's a radar detector with really cool features but has many flaws. It's a radar detector first and foremost, but the range and the hardware itself limits how great this device can be. It's still good, but not $500 good.



The other features are great too, but they themselves have flaws too. After living with the GPS functionality, I can't live without it. I will be getting rid of the 9500ix and will be trying out the Redline for its extensive range. I've had it for a day now and am very impressed with the range. I get slightly more range when coming up to the usual toll booths (so this proves 9500ix was not faulty, otherwise it'd be a monster difference), but it also sniffed out 2 signals that the 9500ix never did. These may be falses, but I'll live with it if it's got the range. If the Redline is all that it's cracked up to be, I will be pairing it with a cheetah C50 to do most of the 9500ix's GPS functions. The only thing it can't do is lock out false alarms. The C50 uses the same Trinity database and gives 1 full year of updates. Lifetime updates are 50 bucks, but also increases your warranty to 3 years. For people not looking to spend the money on C50, you can get Trapster for your smartphone or Garmin or Tom Tom for free. The database is user-based though.

Doesnt Work! Huge waste of Money
Extremely disappointed in this product! I spent $200 ( $100 to buy the device without knowing i had to pay an activation fee + 6 months monthle fee up front + $15 for every month after that ).... only to have the device not be able to connect.



The setup manual says to first "connect" the device and then select "Find now"... The only problem is there is no connect button anywhere on the device or the website that you track it from.



I own a software company, so by no means am I a novice in configuring technology. I highly recommend you avoid purchasing this product from a very shady company.

It might work, if you can activate it!
I purchased a Zoombak locator and needed to activate and use it the day I purchased it as I was concerned for my daughters safety. Well, good luck! I followed the outlined steps and when it came to entering the device ID I was informed that "No device matched the ID # entered". I repeated this step four times and received the same message. I contacted customer service and was informed that I was not the only one having this problem. I was assured that the Zoombak "engineers" were working to correct the problem and that it would be resolved in a maximum of 48 hours. Well, that didn't sit to well with me but what could I do. Now, over 60 hours later the problem is still not resolved and I'm back to square one with having to send customer support an email and trying to explain the problem. I will be returning my Zoombak to my point of purchase today and do not recommend that anyone buy this device. Especially if you need it for someones safety.

zoombak never works correctly
Most undependable item I have every bought.........PERIOD!!!!They say about every day when I call it may be a satelite problem or etc..... this item is not worth the hassle...buy any thing but zoombak....I am stuck with it hope you dont get pinned to the wall with this same piece of PLAIN JUNK!
